Jamie and “Ranger” Rick Krueger and their staff welcome you to Captain Nemo’s Supper Club. At Nemo’s, we strive for uniqueness, from our motif to our entrees.

Nowhere in Wisconsin can you dine amongst 8 huge aquariums filled with native fish from the Northwoods. All the fish in the aquariums are caught by “Ranger” Rick and his guiding clients.

This building is the oldest supper club in Eagle River, and is considered a historical landmark in the Northwoods. It was originally called the Czecho Supper Club while seeing several different owners. Jamie and Rick bought the club in April 1993 and opened the doors June 1993. The name Captain Nemo’s was decided for its nautical connotations. 

Awareness to detail is our priority! Jamie’s personal touches can be seen throughout Captain Nemo’s, from the aromatic candles, to the cute fishy motif to the cleanliness of the restrooms and kitchen area. 

Captain Nemo’s takes pride in every dish we serve. Serving the only real authetic Cajun food in the North, our homemade Cajun spice, used in the blackening process, is from a secret Louisiana recipe. A mixture of 16 herbs, spices, and peppers in just the right proportions, comprise the key to Nemo’s mouth-watering entrees. 

Our Friday Fish Fry is all you can eat cod, and comes with French fries, Jamie’s special coleslaw and rolls. The house special on Saturdays is our blackened prime rib. Repeat customers describe it as “awesome” and “unrivaled”. Not here on Saturday? Try our blackened pork chops or blackened garlic stuffed filet. You won’t be able to find any like ‘em… anywhere!

Got a taste for seafood? You’ve come to the right place! We offer plenty of dishes from our “seas”. Make sure to try “Ranger” Rick’s favorite dish, our Shrimp Diane. Not a meat lover? Nemo’s meatless Florentines, Romas, and Etoufees are guaranteed to give your taste buds a treat from the norm. Plus, all of our dishes can be modified to your taste, hot or not! 

On vacation? Be sure to stop at Jamie and Ranger” Rick’s, Guide’s Choice Pro Shop on the Corner of Highway 45 and 70 in Eagle River to see their 16,300 gallon aquarium. Guide’s Choice Pro Shop’s “Trophy Tank” is the largest privately owned aquarium in the state. The 20 foot long, 12 foot deep aquarium is home to musky over 20 pounds, along with trophy northern pike, walleye, and bass. Huge crappie, large bluegills, perch, and trout cruise the bottom of the tank looking for minnows. If you are a fisherman, “Guide’s Choice” is the place to go for all your fishing needs.
